GTTS1: Systems for customized production

The objective is the implementation of industrial systems and models for the efficient production of customized high added-value products. To meet the requirements of customized productions those systems will need to be reconfigured quickly while guaranteeing a high degree of integration with the customers who have become the main creators of the solution thus produced. Priority research and innovation themes are linked with different development aspects that include ICT solutions for the acquisition of the customer’s requirements, product configurators, anthropometric measuring systems, platforms to monitor the product, innovative technologies for customized production (for instance, additive manufacturing, micro-manufacturing, hybrid processes), new flexible and agile supply chain models and still more.
